Set in the magical world of 1920s New York, this film follows the adventures of Newt Scamander, a British magizoologist who arrives in the city with a suitcase full of magical creatures. When some of these creatures escape, it sets off a series of events that threaten to expose the wizarding world to the non-magical community. Directed by David Yates and starring Eddie Redmayne, the film is a visually stunning addition to the Harry Potter universe. Interestingly, it won the Academy Award for Best Costume Design.
