Xue lian

A vulnerable young woman from a poor background is sold to a dim-witted fishmonger with depraved intentions. Despite her grim circumstances, she finds herself falling for a young gardener, and the two embark on a fervent love affair. When the gardener ends up killing the fishmonger and his mother, the couple is forced to go on the run from the authorities.
